Do I have to be a Fronter phone customer
to get NETPLEX DSL?
YES. You must have
a local phone line through Frontier. You will continue to pay for your phone
line and other calling features the same as you do today. NETPLEX
will bill you separately for the DSL service.
How long does it take to get NETPLEX
DSL?
It takes 5 - 10 business days from
the time NETPLEX
takes your DSL order to the time you are up and surfing the net.
What if I move and change address
but not the DSL phone number?
Call the NETPLEX office at 888-NETPLEX to discuss the situation with our staff BEFORE you move. Depending on the exact type of change being made we should be able to find a solution that will minimize your downtime.
Can I use NETPLEX DSL with existing
or additional phone lines?
Yes. NETPLEX DSL service
is available on any qualified existing or additional telephone line.
DSL technology does not interfere with voice or fax transmission on
any qualified line.
Can I install NETPLEX DSL myself?
Yes. See the Insturctions for more information.
Additional professional wiring service may be required if you have:
- an alarm or medical monitoring service on the line
where you want DSL Internet service
- a rotary dial or hard-wired phone service on the line
where you want DSL Internet service
- more than six (6) jacks with analog devices attached
(such as a fax machine or analog modem)
- a Centrex, PBX, Key System or Hunting service
What email services does NETPLEX
DSL include?
- 100MB of personal web storage with your master email account
- PLUS, you'll have 2 additional sub-accounts (a total of 3) - each
with 100MB of personal web storage.
- The ability to use an e-mail client program such as Thunderbird, Outlook Express, Windows Live Mail, Outlook, etc.; or our WebMail system to access your email
- Send cancellation requests in writing via email to billing@netplex.net
with contact information.
- NETPLEX must be contacted directly (via e-mail to billing@netplex.net or by phone at 860-233-1111) to
cancel DSL services or your account will continue to be charged.
- Cancelling services through Frontier does not cancel
services with NETPLEX.
